It's made from 6542 high-speed steel with a titanium coating that boosts wear resistance, hardness, and reduces friction so it cuts smoother and lasts longer.
The straight flute design clears chips downward as you tap, which works great for through holes and shallow holes—right-hand cutting direction, so it's standard for most machining setups.

Precision is rated at H2, so you can expect consistent, burr-free threads.

It works on a wide range of materials: iron plates, copper, zinc, alloy steel, abrasive steel, A3 steel, and even stainless steel.
