This Jackel check valve is your first line of defense.
It’s designed to stop backflow from your sewage pump discharge line, and it works with any 2-inch sump pump.
The body is made from tough ABS plastic that holds up for years, and the flapper inside is about as durable as they come.

You get two PVC connectors that glue or weld onto standard 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe, then they secure to the valve body with ABS nuts.

That creates a union – a break point in the pipe – so you can pull the pump out for service without cutting everything apart.

Smart design.
Just remember: this valve absolutely must be installed vertically, no tilting or horizontal mounting.
