About This Product
If you do HVAC work, you know how much time standard start collars can eat up – bending tabs, sealing joints, fighting with sharp metal.
This Speedi-Collar changes all that.
It’s a 7-inch take-off collar with a built-in damper, and it attaches to duct board or metal trunk lines using an adhesive gasket and patented Quick-Zips that tighten for an air-tight seal – no extra sealants needed.
The Quick-Zips are located on the outside of the flange, so you’re not reaching inside a sharp metal collar and risking cuts.
No tabs to bend, no injuries, just a clean, fast connection.
It fits 1-inch, 1.
5-inch, and 2-inch duct board, or you can screw it to sheet metal through the pre-drilled holes on the flange.
Basically one collar replaces at least four different metal tab versions.
The built-in damper has a ratchet system with six positions for easy airflow balancing.
And it’s molded from high-density, UV-resistant resin – so it’s lightweight, dent-proof, rust-proof, and won’t degrade in sunlight.
