About This Product
Ever had a door that just won’t latch properly?
Maybe you installed weatherstripping, or the lock got knocked out of alignment, and now the deadbolt doesn’t line up with the strike plate.

This little kit is exactly what you need to fix that headache.
It comes with one metal strike plate, three wooden dowel rods in two different sizes, two long screws, and two short screws – so you’ve got all the parts to get that door closing smoothly again.

The strike plate measures about 5.
7 x 1.
8 x 2.

5 cm, and it’s made from sturdy metal that won’t bend or break under normal use.

The dowel rods are there to fill up those old screw holes that got stripped or enlarged over time – just pop one in, screw into it, and you’ve got a solid anchor again.
The plate itself enlarges the latch hole just enough to compensate for minor misalignment, so the tongue of the lock slides right in without sticking or jamming.
It works on both interior and exterior doors, and installation takes maybe five minutes.
If your door’s been giving you grief, this kit is a cheap and easy fix.
