If you're setting up an access control system, this UHPPOTE electric door strike is a solid, heavy-duty choice.
It converts standard cylindrical locksets into an electronically controlled locking system – so you can buzz people in or integrate with keypads and card readers.
The strike runs on 12VDC and draws only 220mA, so it's efficient.

You can set it to fail-safe (unlocks when power is cut) or fail-secure (locks when power is cut) right on the back – super flexible.

The holding force is 1100 pounds, which is plenty strong, and it's tested to a million cycles, so you know it'll last.
The stainless steel keeper is tough and resists wear.

It fits both right and left hand doors thanks to the reversible design.
Faceplate is about 4-7/8 x 1-15/64 inches, and the case is shallow enough to work with most metal doors.
It's not weatherproof, so keep it indoors.
