If you need to hang something sturdy on a hollow wall, these Hillman toggle bolts are a solid bet.
Each bolt is 1/8 inch by 2 inches with a slotted round head machine screw, steel with a zinc finish for a little rust resistance.
The spring-wing action opens up behind the wall to grip tight – holds up to 50 pounds in 1/2-inch drywall and about 45 pounds in C-90 concrete block.
You'll need to pre-drill a 7/16-inch hole, then just pop it in and tighten.
Wall thickness range is 3/8 to 1-1/4 inches.
