About This Product

This GE motion sensing light switch is a great way to upgrade any room where you want lights to turn on and off automatically.
It's designed for single-pole setups—meaning one switch controls the light—and it works by detecting motion up to 30 feet away in a 150-degree field of view.

It has two main modes.

You can also adjust the sensor to ignore motion when the room already has natural daylight—handy if you don't want the lights turning on during the daytime.
It runs on 120V/125V AC and supports up to 800W for incandescent loads and 800VA for ballasts.

One important note: it requires a neutral wire in the wall box.
If your wiring doesn't have one, this won't work.
