About This Product

If you do any kind of metalworking or machining, you know a good tap set is non-negotiable.
This Burkit 2-piece set gives you two M6 x 1.
5 right-hand straight flute taps made from 6542 high-speed steel – that's the good stuff, heat-treated for toughness and wear resistance.
They're designed for through-holes and shallow blind holes (but not deep blind holes, just a heads-up), and they work great on copper, brass, A3 steel, aluminum, cast iron, and similar materials.

You can run these on tapping machines, bench drills, CNC lathes, machining centers, or even go old-school and do it by hand.
