PFEIL Swiss Made 4mm No. 7 Gouge – Professional Woodcarving Tool, Chrome Vanadium Steel, Octagonal Hardwood Handle, Hand-Sharpened

About This Product

If you're into woodcarving, you know PFEIL is top-tier.

This 4mm No.
7 gouge is made in Switzerland – and that means precision and quality.

It's forged from special alloy chrome vanadium steel, carefully sharpened, honed, and buffed right out of the box.

So it's ready to use immediately – no extra sharpening required.

This is an intermediate-size tool, but it's 2 inches shorter than standard – that gives you better control and more responsiveness, especially for fine detail work.
The blade is 3.
5 inches long, and the octagonal hardwood handle is 4.
5 inches – total length is about 8 inches.

It's well-balanced and fits comfortably in your hand.

The #7 sweep is moderately curved, great for carving concave shapes, hollowing, and detail work in tight spots.

The octagonal handle gives you a secure grip and won't roll off your bench.

The square tang is embedded solidly, so the blade won't wobble or loosen.

Whether you're a pro or a serious hobbyist, this tool will hold its edge for hours of carving.

PFEIL is often considered the finest carving tool on the market – durable, reliable, and a joy to use.
If you want a gouge that'll last a lifetime, this is it.
