About This Product
This little plug tap is a handy tool to have around if you do any kind of threading work.

It's an M3 x 0.
6 size, which is pretty common for small screws and machine parts.
The H2 accuracy class means it cuts threads with good precision – not sloppy, not too tight, just right.
It's a plug style tap, so it cuts deeper threads than a taper tap and is meant to be used after a starter tap to clean up and finish the threads.
Total length is 50mm, with about 16mm of threading, and the square end is 2.
5mm wide so it fits nicely into a standard tap wrench.
The straight flute design helps chips fall downward instead of clogging things up, which makes the whole process smoother.
Made from 9CrSi alloy tool steel – it's hard, wear-resistant, and tough enough for repeated use.

No coating on this one, just bare steel, so it's best for general threading jobs in mild steel, aluminum, copper, iron, or hard plastics.
You'll want to use some cutting oil to get cleaner threads and extend the tap's life.

Also, make sure to back it out every so often to clear the chips.
After you're done, a little rust-prevention oil keeps it from corroding.
