DEWALT DW1120 5/16" Black Oxide Split Point Twist Drill Bit – 135° Split Point, Parabolic Flute, For Non-Ferrous Metal, Wood, Plastic, General Purpose

About This Product

If you need a reliable general-purpose drill bit, this DEWALT DW1120 is a classic choice.

It's a 5/16-inch black oxide bit that handles most everyday materials – wood, plastic, and non-ferrous metals like aluminum and brass – like a champ.
The black oxide coating gives it extra wear resistance, so it stays sharper longer than plain steel bits.

It's the kind of bit you'll find in residential tool boxes and commercial shops alike because it just works.

The 135-degree split point is a big plus – it contacts the surface immediately and doesn't wander or walk across your workpiece, so you get accurate holes right where you want them.
No need for a center punch on most jobs.

The parabolic flute design is another standout: it moves chips out of the hole faster, reducing heat buildup and binding, especially in deeper drilling.
The 31-degree helix strikes a good balance – aggressive enough to clear debris but not so aggressive that it grabs and jerks.

This bit is ideal for DIY projects, electrical work, plumbing, or any general construction task.

It's a 5/16" size, which is super common for bolts, wall anchors, and pilot holes.

DEWALT backs it with a 1-year warranty and 30-day trial, so you're covered if you're not happy.

Solid, no-fuss bit that gets the job done without breaking the bank.
