These RC-36 recessed magnetic contacts are exactly what you need for a wired security system.

You get four brown sensors in this pack, each designed to mount flush into doors, windows, or cabinets for a clean, low-profile installation.

Each sensor uses a reed switch that's activated by a magnetic field.

The contact type is NC+NO, meaning you can wire it as Normally Open or Normally Closed depending on how your alarm panel is set up.

Cable colors: White is common, Red is Normally Open, and Gray is Normally Closed.
Simple and clear labeling makes wiring a breeze.

They're rated for up to 0.

5A maximum switch current, DC 100V, and 10W contact power.
