About This Product
Alright, this ENERLITES outlet is not your average wall plug.
It's from their Elite Series, so it looks sharp—the face is a soft metallic gold, and it comes with a matching polished brass stainless steel wall plate that's tough and corrosion-resistant.
But it's not just about looks: it's tamper-resistant, which means it has little internal shutters that block anything other than a proper plug from going in.
That's a big deal if you've got kids around—meets the latest NEC code requirements.
It's rated 15A and 125V, works in standard junction boxes, and has both back and side wiring options.
The body is made from heavy-duty polycarbonate thermoplastic that can take heat and won't warp.
It's self-grounding, so no extra ground wire needed, and the break-off plaster ears let you adjust the fit.
UL listed, so you know it's legit, and backed by a one-year warranty.
Tamper-resistant shutters prevent foreign objects from entering the outlets for enhanced child safety.
Corrosion-resistant plate withstands humid environments and stays bright.
Heavy-duty polycarbonate construction resists impact, heat, and wear.
Self-grounding design simplifies installation.
Back and side wired for flexibility with different wiring setups.
Meets 2017 NEC Article 406.
12 for tamper-resistant receptacles.
Easy to install with included instructions.
A great upgrade for kitchens, living rooms, offices, or rental properties.
