It's made from 40Cr alloy steel – that's tough stuff, heat-treated for high hardness and impact resistance.

The whole thing is stamped as one solid piece, so no weak spots.

8mm – a standard hex size that fits most electric hammers and chisels (but not SDS-max rotary hammers, just so you know).
