It's a 1-inch (25mm) oval skew chisel made from M2 high-speed steel that's been cryogenically hardened – that's a fancy process where they cool the steel down to -185°C after heat treatment, which makes the edge last up to five times longer than regular HSS.

That means you spend way more time turning wood and way less time sharpening, even when you're working with oily, abrasive, exotic, green, or hard woods.

The blade itself is 170mm long, 25mm wide, and 6mm thick, so it's solid and stable.
It comes pre-sharpened with a super-fine edge that reduces burr formation.

The handle is a full-size beech wood beauty with a stainless steel ferrule, giving you great control and comfort.
