This Burkit M7 x 1 left-hand tap and die set is exactly what you need if you're working with left-hand threads – whether you're repairing damaged threads or cutting new ones.

The tap is made from 6542 high-speed steel (M2) with a straight flute design that clears chips fast, so you're not fighting blockage when cutting through materials like cast iron, copper, brass, aluminum, or A3 steel.

The die is made from alloy tool steel with good hardness and wear resistance, perfect for chasing or cutting external threads.

Both are left-hand cutting direction, so make sure you're spinning the right way.

The tap has an H2 accuracy class, and the die is 6g – that's good precision for most general metalworking needs.

The cutting diameter is 7mm with a 1mm pitch, so it's a standard metric size.
