This uxcell thread tap is a reliable workhorse for machine tapping.

Size is 3/16-24 UNC with a B2 accuracy class – that's the standard for most general-purpose threading jobs.

Made from 6542 high-speed steel (M2 equivalent) with a titanium coating, so it's hard, tough, and resistant to wear and corrosion.

The spiral point design pushes chips downward, so they clear out of the hole as you tap – less clogging, cleaner threads.
Plug chamfer and right-hand threading make it suitable for a wide range of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, alloy steel, brass, hard plastics, and more.
