These little nitrile O-rings from uxcell are the kind of thing you don't think about until you need one – and then you're glad you have a pack.

They're 12mm outside diameter, 8mm inside, with a 2mm cross-section, so they fit a bunch of common metric applications.

Made from standard NBR (Buna-N) rubber with a 70A durometer hardness, which means they're tough enough to resist penetration but still flexible enough to seal properly.
Temperature range is -4°F to 212°F, so they handle hot and cold environments without getting brittle or melting.

They're great for pressure washers, pumps, filters, plumbing fittings, garden hoses, and all sorts of mechanical stuff around the garage or workshop.
Just keep in mind they don't play nice with acetone, ethers, ozone, or direct sunlight – so don't use them near electric motors that generate ozone or in UV-exposed spots.
But for oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, and mineral oil, they're spot on.
