About This Product
This little worm gear motor packs a surprising punch.
It runs on 12V DC and spins at a slow 10 RPM, but the torque is a solid 40 kg·cm—enough to move serious weight if you gear it right.
The worm gear design makes it self-locking, which means when you cut the power, the output shaft stays put and won't back-drive.

That's a huge plus for things like lifts, actuators, or electric curtains where you don't want stuff slipping.

The shaft is 8mm with a D-cut flat, and the whole gearbox sits perpendicular to the motor, so it fits in tight spaces where a straight motor won't.
It's also reversible—just swap the red and black wires to change direction.
Rated current is around 1.

4 amps, and it's built with metal gears and long-life carbon brushes, so it stays quiet and reliable.
Just don't stall it for too long or overload it, or you'll risk burning it up.
This motor is super handy for automation projects, vending machines, security cameras, stage lighting, and even model boats or BBQ rotisseries.

If you need slow, strong, and compact, this is a great choice.
