This DEWENWILS remote control outlet is one of those simple things that makes life a little easier.

It's a plug-in receiver with a compact side design, so it doesn't block the top outlet—you can still plug something else in above it.
The remote works via RF signal, not infrared, so you don't need line-of-sight; it goes through walls and doors with a range of up to 100 feet in open areas.
No programming needed—just plug it in, pop the included 12V 23A battery into the remote, and you're good to go.
